DISCORD-certified Game Audio-chat balance dial lets you adjust audio levels on the fly. Separate sound cards handle game and chat audio, allowing you to set the proper balance on the headset without having to leave the game. Also compatible with TeamSpeak, Skype, and other services.

JBL’s unique JBL QuantumENGINE PC software powers the immersive surround sound. Select your preferred surround sound settings and personalize your JBL Quantum 800 gaming headset from a user-friendly dashboard, creating separate profiles and RGB effects, and modifying microphone settings. You can also adjust the equalizer or choose from 6 presets.

Can I use the JBL Quantum 800 in USB mode
The JBL Quantum 800 can only be used via a 3.5mm, Bluetooth, or 2.4Ghz wireless connection.

Does the Quantum headphone support the Mic monitoring feature?
Yes. You can configure the volume of the mic monitoring in JBL QuantumENGINE. And the default setting of the mic monitoring is set of “OFF”.

How to charge your Quantum headphone?
The battery is charged using an included USB-A to USB-C USB fabric cable. It will be fully charged for 2 hrs. Note, this cable is only for charging the battery, it will not deliver audio.

How to connect a Bluetooth device?
With a short press of the dedicated Bluetooth button on the underside of the right ear cup, it powered on and enter the pairing mode.

How to set up your microphone?
Ensure that only one voice chat application is in use while in-game. Be sure you hear a click when the microphone is flipped down. The microphone will only function when it is flipped down fully. If you see a red LED on the microphone, it is muted.

How to check your PC settings for the correct recording device?
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Select Hardware and Sound
3. Click on Sound & Select Recording
4. Make sure to select the proper recording device.
Right-click on it Quantum headset.
Now select "Set Default Device" or Select "Default Communication Device"
5. Check the microphone levels by right-click on your Quantum headset. Then click on Properties
6. Choose Levels.
7. Adjust accordingly.

How to switch between Active Noise Cancelling and TalkThru?
Onboard Active Noise Cancelling is controlled by the multi-function button on the rear of the left ear-cup. Switched on by default, you can SINGLE press the ANC button to toggle it On/Off and LONG press to active TalkThru. Turn on ANC again by a single press on the multi-function button.

How to use your Quantum wirelessly?
It is offering low-latency wireless connectivity via a 2.4Ghz signal that is enabled by a USB dongle included in the box. Turn on the slider, then it automatically connect to the dongle. If you loss the connectivity with the dongle, power on with the slider and hold on for 5 seconds and press and hold the dongle to make sure the pairing until listening to the tone.
